The Palmyra Community Pool is located west of the Palmyra Area High School and features 3 unique pools . A wade pool, an L-shaped main pool, and a 6 lane competition pool. The wade pool is 1 foot deep and recently was upgraded to support a tall multi-flower sprinkler our younger guests can play under. The main pool is 3-12 feet deep, has a curve water slide, and 2 diving boards at the 11 foot end. The competition pool has 2 lap lanes available at all times for lap swimmers.
There are plenty of dry land activities at the Palmyra Community Pool. From Tetherball, to 4-Square and plenty of open grass areas for various activities. Palmyra Playtown by the Pool is an updated playground that is open year round and is located in front of the Pool. Two baseball diamonds are also located at the Pool, opposite of the playground.

15 years ago, Palmyra Playtown by the Pool was erected from donations of the local community. These donations came in the form of engraved bricks that were laid in the walking path with in the Playtown. To celebrate the 15th anniversary of this playground, the Palmyra Community Pool would like to expand the current walking path, install some newer equipment, and perform other general maintenance. To accomplish these goals, various events will be planned over the next year, providing the community opportunities to either volunteer or to make donations. Please consider helping us in our mission to continue to provide a safe place for our children to enjoy the outdoors!
The swim lesson sign-up form has more information about the different lesson groups. Any other questions can be asked at the front desk.
Please bring the completed form and your payment to the front desk at the pool during normal business hours.
